I had a great experience with Gowens Automotive Repair. Christy was incredibly helpful in getting me detailed quotes for all the repairs needed on my Mazda 6. She took the time to answer all of my questions and explained everything clearly in a way that was easy to understand, which I really appreciated. Was told by pep boys that it would cost 1200$ to replace a gasket cover and so much time ! SMH so glad i came here it took them maybe 2 hours max and they charged me very little and my car was running so much better ! Will always do business here !!!

Same day service that was professionally done.

Dropped my car off on Monday evening. They said they would work on my car and it would take two days.its now Friday, Easter weekend and my family and I are scheduled to drive to Florida in my car on Sunday. I get a call at 4:07, which I missed, and they left a message saying that they were delayed on ordering the proper parts for my car and my car would be available on Monday. She also said that they were closing early and wouldn’t be there to answer if I called back. So now I’ve been calling nonstop to get my car and no one is answering because guess what, they left for the weekend, Easter weekend and didn’t have enough courtesy to call me Friday morning and tell me that my car wasn’t going to be ready. I’m beyond upset right now bc I now have to pay money to rent a car for the week because I have no vehicle. The work they needed to do would’ve taken 2 days tops and they failed. This is NOT how you do business. And now at a time where funds are super tight, I now have to come out of pocket to rent a car that I should’ve even have to rent.

I have been doing business with Gowen's Garage for over 30 years. Never had any problems with these folks, and always call before the work is performed, to advise of price and time needed. I have known the Gowen Family for many years
