My first and only experience with Gowen's was not a pleasant one. They charged me $660 for three diagnostics on my 2014 Infiniti Q50. They thought I should've known EACH item I mentioned was wrong needed a separate diagnostic. First they tell me they are $155 ea. ($465 for diagnostics still would've been a LOT of money). Then, without my permission, they did one on the A/C that cost $236. To back up: I dropped my vehicle off to them and didn't hear from Gowen's for about 4 days. When I got there to check on the status, that's when I found out I owed them $660 and a temperature relay had been installed (as a 'courtesy'). I don't need Gowen's to do me any more favors - ever again! There was always an excuse as to why I couldn't speak to the owner Rick. So there you have it. I'm one and done with Gowen's. Proceed with extreme CAUTION! Although a friend told me she uses them all the time and they charge $179 to tell her everything wrong with the vehicle. She's convinced they singled me out for some reason. 😡

Awesome service! It’s truly hard to find a car mechanic that is honest. Gowen’s is truly that place. It is hard to recommend more highly. If you are in need of auto servicing, look nowhere else, you have found what you need!

Great service, kind, and communicative

I have always experienced excellent service and compassionate service from Gowen Automotive. Mrs. Gowen, Christie, Mr.Gowen ( the son) and any mechanic that works there are always plesant and professional . Gowen automotive treats their clients like friends and not like burdensome wondering travelers like most other service providers do. Recently I had a break overhaul and some transmission work done on a Dodge Ram 1500 and needed parts that Dodge no longer manufactures for 2003 models....Christie searched the entirety of the great land of the United States of America to find those parts, KEPT ME FULLY INFORMED and got me up and running. EXCELLENT SERVICE ....under promised and over delivered.

Gowens Automotive is the only place my husband allows me to take my vehicle. After my Tahoe was in an semi bender. It needed the experts from Gowens to fix the rack & pinion shaft Now it steers better than before. As for Kristi in the front office she is top notch staying in touch my insurance company. Been going to Gowens for over 10+ years and they will get our business for many more.
