March 1987 Rick Gowen'ss father , Rip, repaired my car, Ms Barbara made sure It was finished on time, that I was happy with the work done, and counted my money. I continue to depend upon the Gowen'ss Automotive crew because they have repeatedly given us honest service and personal integrity. They may not be the cheapest shop around, but, they have saved us hundreds of dollars on a repair more than once. We trust them !

Rip offs!! I feel like the woman that goes into an auto shop and was taken advantage of. Went in to have a leak checked which i was told wld be free... That was a lie..$47.50/half hr service fee for them to check. Then, "oh we hear a noise". Another$47.50 to verify the noise. Long story short, Transfer case leak $2000. Noise, $1600 for noisy bad alternator and pulley system and new battery. They knew i was leaving town for 4th of July... "No u can't drive with a bad alternator". So i spend the $1600 on the new alternate pulleys and battery. Decided no on the transfer case. They closed for a week for July 4th. Car still making same noise. Brought it back..."oh the noise is the water pump $785" ...... Ur kidding me right? No! So ur gonna charge me another $800 for the same noise u misdiagnosed the first time at $1600. "We'll give ua $50 coupon"..... No u put my car back together, i will take it else where. The dealer was cheaper... Same ur time and money people!!!
