Gowens is a great family own business. The people are always friendly with great customer service. They even worked with me even when I didn't have all the money to pay them. They kept my car for 2 weeks and didnt charge me a storage fee. The only downside is if you take your car in for one problem, they will be up front and honest and explain other problems wrong with your car (which I appreciate). But that means you'll probably have to spend more than expected. At least you won't have any lingering problems afterwards.

I would definitely bring my mercedes back to Gowan's Automotive for service maintenance . Chad is very knowledgeable, the service was excellent, and the price was 40% less than what I was quoted at the Mercedes-Benz dealership'sthe . I'm all about saving money and time and I was allowed to save both because Gowan's had my car ready in a day. -Gayle Borden

Secretary said it's free , She did not notify me that diagnostic labor cost $109 . The staff said AutoZone diagnostic was not good . I had ran on car before I got to Gowen's automotive repair for free ! The same diagnostic test. For $109 AutoZone diagnostic was the same . Now still out to get my car fixed quoted $1300 to fix by Gowen's automotive repair. . Needed one light to go out just pass emissions test. Did not clearly state $1300 would do want

Thought I may have needed brakes on my truck also wanted wheel bearings checked as when I bought truck upper and lower control arms were wore out they did lowers willow back for uppers very soon 40%pad left on brakes found out I did need a rear wheel bearing they claim they heard nothing now wonder if they even looked at truck they had it all day

The service was great and they explain to me what was going on and what I needed to do to take care my issues
